2 Organisation of the document
This part of the ECM standard has six clauses. Clauses 1 and 2 provide a general introduction and the scope of the ECM standard. Clauses 3 and 4 give a set of normative references as well as terms, definitions and abbreviations that are used in this part of the ECM standard.
Clause 5 defines the choreography by which the messages defined in this part of the ECM standard are to be exchanged. Clause 6 then provides the message content, syntax and structure.
